Kununurra

In Kununurra, only minutes to sunset, we found a campsite, backed in the trailer, lifted the top, extended the rods, straightened the bed, grabbed chairs and drinks and got to the lake just in time. The sky aflame, the red, orange and purple bounced off the Sleeping Buddha and was mirrored in the water’s stillness. Stunned, I sketched the beauty, feeling the mystery, the sense of eternity, and the longing for answers to my many questions.
