London

Handing in my PhD, with no reason to stay, I set off on the journey of a lifetime with paper and pastels in hand. Starting in London
London
At last
I walk through my past
Not mine as such
But heritage from these parts
Breath
Take it in
All the history that’s been
The palace
The gates
The Queen’s grand place
Tower Bridge
Big Ben
Parliament House
Take it in
My Fair Lady
St Pauls and Westminster
Under my feet
Monopoly Streets
Art and Antiques
Museums that speak
Of ancient times
Of Romans days
And Vikings
Having their way
Till William the Conqueror took it all away
